Welcome to Haven, an inclusive space to discover new games and new friends! Join our journey to foster an open, welcoming, fun environment for people to connect over the joy of board games. Haven is our dream for an enjoyable third space, where everyone is welcome and anyone can come have a blast.Some day, we hope to have a physical building, with a game room, flex space, open mic stage, projector, and small event space, as part of our dream for The Blocks – common space for small businesses to build common ground in our community.
For now, the physical version of Haven is still a dream. However, we’re still working towards that dream, starting with a digital version of our vision. Here we’ll be sharing our thoughts on games, teaching games, and leading community events centered around… games! Games aren’t just fun ways to get competitive with each other — though they are that too — they’re a great way to grow closer to each other as humans. Whether that’s throwing a games night in a new neighborhood to meet new people, playing games with the family, or reconnecting with old friends over a board, games have so much potential to bring us together.
